(Charlottetown, P.E.I.) – Confederation Centre of the Arts has been impacted by a cyber security incident.

Centre personnel discovered the incident on the afternoon of January 25. The Centre immediately engaged a team of experts to assist in its efforts to understand the scope of the incident and its potential impact. That work is ongoing.

The appropriate authorities have been notified of the incident and the Centre is following their guidance.

The Centre will be in direct contact with any affected individuals, organizations, and stakeholder groups in the coming days with information relating to the incident and any next steps.

Some operations and IT systems at the Centre will be periodically unavailable over the coming days. Please visit the website for additional information.
