Update on COVID Restrictions at Confederation Centre 

February 25, 2022 – Confederation Centre of the Arts is following guidance from the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) as the province moves through its COVID-19 transition plan.  

At this time, patrons attending live performances can expect the following changes:  

Step 1: In progress

  • Events are operating at 50% capacity, which is 550 patrons in the Mainstage Theatre and 100 patrons at The Mack
  • Patrons may be seated beside people outside of their party but can request to move to an available alternative seat prior to the performance
  • Masks are required at all times but can be removed at your seat while actively eating or drinking
  • As of Monday, February 28, proof of vaccination is not required at events

Step 2: Estimated to begin March 17

  • Venue capacity increases to 75% capacity, which is 825 patrons in the Mainstage Theatre, and 150 patrons at The Mack
  • Patrons may be seated beside people outside of their party but can request to move to an available alternative seat prior to the performance
  • Masks are required at all times but can be removed at your seat while actively eating or drinking

Step 3: Estimated to begin April 7

  • Remaining capacity and gathering limits lifted
  • Masks no longer required
