The Town Heroes Roll Up to The Mack for Songwriter Series
Halifax quartet makes their LIVE @ the Centre debut at The Mack April 27
The Town Heroes are closing out Sobeys LIVE @ the Centre’s Songwriters Series at the Mack at this April. Whether rocking out in a sweaty club show or hushing things for an intimate acoustic setting, The Town Heroes are always ready to bring a night of engaging entertainment and songcraft.
This Halifax-based band blends 90s alt-rock influences and singer-songwriter stylings for songs that exploring all the things that make us human. The trio’s fourth full length album, Everything (will be fine when we get to where we think we’re going), shows a maturity brought on by hundreds of live shows around the world.
Lyrically, at the root of every song is a passionate exploration of the things that make us all human: heartache, longing, society in the modern age, dreams, and family. The album is simultaneously thought-provoking and irresistibly danceable and is up for both Group Recording and Songwriter of the Year at this year’s ECMA’s in Charlottetown.
The Town Heroes perform at The Mack on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $22 plus fees and taxes, and are available at the door, at Confederation Centre’s box office, online at confederationcentre.com, or via phone at 902-566-1267 (toll free at 1-800-565-0278.)
